Princess Half Marathon at Walt Disney World

Race video through Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. This was the inaugural run, and had some interesting additions and differences from the January Walt Disney World Marathon. Intended as a women's event, Disney welcomes all guests, and men could enter the Princess half marathon. This was a lot of fun!

Yes! Disney welcomes everyone!

However, "pirates" are not recognized for awards, and they are placed in the "B" or second corral no matter how fast they are.

I loved this race! It was so much fun. Disney races tend to start like a monster truck race, with fireworks, flames, massive explosions. But the 2009 Princess half started with pleasant wishes from the fairy godmother -- amusing contrast.

I wholeheartedly recommend this race for fun!
