Continuing Tests Of Earth Battery .. the point being .. to try and see if, as in the early days of "The Telegraph", we can harness a useful amount of energy from our soil & other objects.
Not an electrician, so am learning from step one ...
Free Tree Energy ...
Looks like older & larger trees with deeper roots will offer a better return ..
Fencing? .. with a few attached added probes we may get a better result ..
The Earth Battery seems to offer The Best prospect for gathering Free Earth Energy ;#))
Coppicing Trees ..
It's known that Young growth pulls in More Carbon than established trees.
Where Scots Pine Is the best known tree in the UK, to Fix Carbon .. it's very slow growing ... and offers no added cyclical benefit ...
... where Growing Ash, which Is the next best UK tree for Fixing Carbon ... offers the benefit of many new poles in a 5 year cycle ..

good to see people experimenting with earth batteries, but you guys are getting caught up with your meters too much. More importantantly it's no such much as how much of something you put into the ground as to where. Use LED lights to measure current. Your meters wont pick it up. eg; i've lit up LED's rated at 3v 30ma - with only a voltage of 0.8v and my meter was unable to measure any current at all. So something is powering them that your meters cant detect. :)
