I had a problem with my Walther P22 where the slide stop lever spring was dislodged when I was cleaning the gun. Luckily I found a website that showed the detailed take down of the gun and I was able to fix it with no problem. The link to the website is below and will show you how to disassemble the Walther P22 to a much greater degree than this video.

WARNING: Walther does not recommend you disassemble your firearm beyond the basic take down described in the owner's manual. Use this information at your own risk!

  • @TeamAlphaTaskForce Yeah, I think the bloopers are the part I like the most.

  • Cool video.

Is that hammer on the .22 version completely made of steel or is there a little steel plate in the zinc hammer?

  • looks like it's all steel but it does look like its made out of two pieces. there is a seam about 1/8" from the left side.

  • love your bloopers.

  • I can't believe how easily this came out for me. Not only that, but it got bent and contorted like crazy. Shoddy design if you ask me...it's a shame because I love this gun.

  • is it full metal?

  • Great video! It is only because of your presentation that I found out that my spring was missing. Thanks alot!!!

  • that's for the video, I was able to put my spring back in less than 5 minutes. It would have taken me awhile to look through the diagrams and figure out the orientation.

  • Hi. About how many round do you have thru your P22? I have one with about 3800 rounds thru mind. I managed to blow up the barrel with a double discharge creating a buldge in mine. They (S&W) fixed it for me by installing a new barrel. I used the slide stop as a slide release & that is how this whole mess got started. NEVER use the stop as a release AS YOU WILL WEAR MATERIAL OFF OF THE SLIDE & it will no longer have an L shape. Sincerely, JAMES.

  • thank you im going to buy one

  • great video- good info. thanks
