  • Just knew it was going to be SOTN at number one, it is the best one of all time(so far).

I still have my Ps1 copy, and purposefully put of beating the game itself(for years) so I could just keep going and playing.

Oh and you forgot to mention the familiars, they are very useful.

  • @SamiWheeler I did forget to mention the familiars. I still have my Ps1 copy as well. Thanks for watching.

  • Good list, personally my favorite game is Portrait of Ruin, but I haven't played ALL castlevania games. I also hated Lords of Shadow too!!!

  • @alexgodzillafan3328 Thank you! I'm glad someone agrees with me on lord of shadows.

  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night was a great game. I think you might agree that Richter's game was okay. I really enjoy playing as Alucard for many hours.

  • I thought there were a few too many metroidvania games on your list, but for the most part, it's a good list. The only metroidvania game I like was SOTN. I played Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia and while good, they aren't fantastic like the linear games are. I definitely prefer the linear style, and hope they make more in the future. Rondo is my number 1 btw. :)

  • oh I also played Dawn of Sorrow's Julius mode which is more "Old School" and it was allot of fun, though you are not as overpowered as Soma Cruz LOL!

  • I thumbed up your video and favourited it, nice job! I have only played Dawn of Sorrow and fallen in love with the Castlevania genre! I have beaten Dawn of Sorrow 5 times on hard lol (not that it is hard, just allot of fun). I am going to try all the games in your list. I have a question though, why is Dawn of Sorrow not on your list?

Looking forward to your reply, cya.

  • @GamePowMasters No problem - yes, to me the Saturn version of SotN is best, although not as crisp, fortunately, my friend owns a flea market and have gotten to see and play alot of rare stuff - although unfortunately I never got to own them. I would love a Saturn and TBGFX-CD to play Rondo and SotN...alas, very rare.

  • @samuelrosenbalm I don't like the 3D ones ver much either. If I have a choice I usually go with the console over portable. Circle of the moon was on my list on paper, but my list changed when I started playing them all again. I really like Circle of the moon's card system. I might do a review of the game in the future. I would really like to get symphony of the night for the Saturn. It would be a great peice for my collection. Thanks for sharing your list.
