  • @DevSodDribble I wouldn't worry what that guy has to say. He sounds like the kind of person who thought the digital remastering of the original Star Wars trilogy was a good idea because the visuals were outdated and "cheesy". B5 set the standard for the use of CGI in a sci-fi show and I think it stands up to even some more recent sci-fi series' CGI.

  • @i8246i It doesn't look 'horrible and cheesy' at all. You're expecting too much from a limited medium.

  • @HarPlayer Kosh 1 was Sheridans friend. Kosh 2 was no ones friend.

  • @HarPlayer He also said he'd teach Sheridan to fight legends. I think this qualifies.

  • @HarPlayer By this time Kosh was dead and the Vorlons had decided to destroy every planet that sided with the Shadows, whether it was voluntary or against their will. Rather than sit back and let the Vorlons and the Shadows, who were doing the same to worlds supporting the Vorlons, wipe out everybody, Sheridan took the fight to both of them.

  • I thought the Vorlon 's n ( Kosh ) Bab 5 were friends n Kosh n Capt Sher were sort of friends comrads. Kosh was teaching Sher if u call that teaching the way Kosh spoke he liked to say ( Yes ) alot

  • those red vorlon beams are bad ass! they killed a whitestar with just one shot!!!

  • And my spelling, was pant hehe, prophetic was a bit wrong there. The message is the same. I liked Sheridans dad's advice. Never start a fight, but always finish it.

  • Quite preophetic for modern times...small outpost breaks away from a mad shadow govt where friend and foe are really against humanity and using the people of the universe. Great show ?I watched every one as it aired and again when I got the video and dvd sets. This show showed to people that you should stand up for peoples rights wherever it may take you. More people need to wake up in the real world and see whats happening and start standing up for others than been afraid of the dark.

  • @KNS1996DFS Back then we didn't care much about the quality of CGI since they entire trend had just started. Most of us watched B5 and played games like Wing Commander 3/4 which had cinematic cutscenes with CGI in them much like the ones of B5....It was another era and we just loved it.

  • @NikKast1981 Actually, 1996 is a reference from Star Trek. And when it was on, I really loved Babylon 5. But looking back on it now, it doesn't wear well. The sets look like they're sets, and the CGI is video game-quality. I also think the show had a very narrow appeal. I can't imagine that people who aren't fans of the genre watched it. But I think that's also true of Star Trek's various spin-offs.

  • @KNS1996DFS If you were born two years after it started (judging by your nickname) then yes for your age the graphics obviously fall short, however back 1994 they weren't bad at all and only surpassed by Star Trek TNG..
