  • I started my Optifast diet in October of 2010. I was 24 yeas old, 350 lbs, had high blood pressure, chest/back/knee pains everyday, and generally unhappy with myself.

I made the decision to try Optifast because my life long dream was to be in the military, and obviously I was in NO position to do so.

The first week is definitely the toughest to get through because you're still dealing with getting use to your new diet, fighting cravings, and its just "out of the norm" to not eat anything.

  • The second week is at least 50% easier than week 1, and by week 3, you are pretty much in a new "groove" and the weeks just begin to fly by.

I did the full fast till February 2011, and now I am happy to say I weigh in at a healthy 200lbs, I run 2 miles/day, and I am currently enlisted in the US Army. I ship out in October, less than a year, from the star of my Optifast diet.

I can TRULY say Optifast has completely changed my life!

  • I am on week 2 of this program. Whew!! Week 1 was truly a test. I have never gone without food ever in my soon to be 50 years of living.

I am going to post videos and provide feedback periodically. This is a doable program if you manage to incorporate a healthy exercise regime especially if you want to keep the weight off.
