Oh, that poor bastard. She really should have been straight with him. It would have been painful but the compassionate thing to do. It must be difficult for her to know what to say at the moment of being put on the spot though. Ouch. This can only turn ugly now.

I'm a bit angry at Noirin at this point. She had the perfect opportunity to put him straight and she didn't do it, in fact she encouraged him!
