The urban environment is a treacherous place for the physically impaired. Limited access to buildings, barriers to wheelchair users, and great distances are all impediments to barrier free mobility for this population. For his Capstone project Mike designed a one person mobility device that can be used outdoors as well as indoors. Full weather protection, higher top speed and safety considerations were features of his solution.
