@ZoyaTheGreat Yes, there are other elephants in the world but, overall elephants are an endangered species. If we think that there are always more elephants, then you are wrong. If they all die out, then there will be no more elephants for the next generation to see.

@mangamaniamarathon She was abused, and it is a tragedy that she was euthanized, but this was the best choice for her at the time. There wasn't much compassion for animals in 1903.

@Trustthapo I think your also incorrect. Everthing and everyone diserves a chance at life. Just because you did something wrong doesn't mean that you should be killed. Besides the trainers were clearly abusing Topsy. Topsy was only doing what her instinct told her to do, so don't judge something before you know what happened or what the other one is thinking/feeling.

@ZoyaTheGreat Seriously. Though the elephant was abused(it was 1903- animals were generally treated like crap), she was still dangerous to her handlers and the public.
There are billions of humans, and nobody cries when mentally unstable murderers are executed.
