[Lonely Man's Anthem (Szymanski)] In early November, and although unintentional, I was to blame for scaring off the friends and companions of this common Merganser when approaching for 'photo opp' without sufficient gracefulness. So as a tribute, I here document its patient waiting for the return of the other three, who flew away to points downriver.
