Mike Lange is the NHL's version of Jim Ross. He makes great moments even better.

@SuperTugz Both '08 and '09 (Even though Wings lost) were excellent hockey.....87 an awesome talent just wish he wouldn't bitch and whine so much! his skill level should be above that!....Chance are we wont see Wing/Pen final ever again since more than likely Wings coming to East in '12-13....Wont miss the cross-continent treks during post-season nor the constant 10-10:30 faceoffs on a regular basis!

@dciguy01 None!.....beacuse we won Cup that year 2 nights later.....11 Cups, 85 years of tradition/legends/champions and best of all, No Bankruptcy,Locked arena doors, NUMEROUS rumors of franchise moving to Portland, Kansas City, Hamilton etc. etc. etc....so bump in road did'nt really phase us.

This might have been the best hockey game I've seen in my life.
I'm a Pens fan, and actually wasn't as pissed as I thought I'd be when the Wings won, because both teams played great and Detroit really deserved it. And it was awesome to get back at 'em the next year in an epic game 7. :D I hope the final is Pens and Wings for the next 10 years, it's a great matchup.

@ninjagal1234 I am with you, the Pens have Stanley Cup final appearances in 2 out of the last three years. Can't wait until game one. Go Pens, from a Pittsburgher transplanted out to California.
