Well I did say Saddath had a POLITICAL VICTORY.

But the war itself wasn't won,the war didn't give you Sinai back,the War lead to a situation where begin broke down and made a "peace" negotiation(peace my ass) only a few years to give up the Sinai to Egypt.

after 1973 we still held Sinai.

in other words the purpose of the war(who caught us with our pants down) was to make Israel tired.

and that did work in the long term.
