Mostly footage of the rarely seen Synodontis catfish, but also some good shots of the other fish. Notice how insanely quickly the Oscar is growing!

Here's a stock list:
Tiger Oscar
Blood Parrot
Synodontis Catfish
4x Cory Cats
Geophagus Red Hump
Gold Severum
Jack Dempsey

All of the plants are real, as is the driftwood. visit http://www.breakspirit.com for more info

  • filtration?

  • @TheItsCharlie

I go into it in my other videos. Basically, it's a 30 gallon sump tank with huge amounts of bio filtration.

  • Such a big Syno in such a small hole!...He is easily the best looking Fish in there and seems to come out quite a lot...Has he always been out and about that much or didn't you see hime when you 1st got him?...I have just bought one 4 days ago and haven't really seen him, i'm hoping when he gets used to everything, he will be out a bit more!

  • @chiligum

Thanks for the comments. The syno hardly ever comes out actually, but he's learned to come out real quick when I feed the tank. Otherwise, the other fish eat all his food. So, it's easy to get him to come out if I want to see him, but he seldom comes out any other time. I hope you enjoy your syno, they're very awesome fish.

Yeah, they're cory cats, though I forget what kind. To be honest, though, none are left and they are presumed eaten. The only small fish that survive in that tank are plecos, like bristlenoses.

  • @breakspirit

How about the little guys i see scurrying around on the bottom, They seem like emerald cory cats?

  • @sqeker09

probably the jack dempsey, as he's the only one that no one ever messes with. The oscar and the blood parrot bicker with each other a lot and sometimes chase the other fish, but nothing messes with the jack.

  • Who's the boss of the tank?

  • @lilkevin1993

Thanks for the comments. I got the driftwood from a local fish store near here, it came mounted on a stone base. It was like 70 dollars if I recall, but I doubt I'd ever find such a nice piece on my own locally, so I bought it. If you do your sump and overflow like mine, let me know, as I'd be interested in seeing it. I've had no issues with mine at all. Thanks again.

  • Where did you get that awesome piece of driftwood? And I want to do my sump and over flow setup exactly like yours. I also recognize your stand build from Monsterfishkeepers.
