Well, here's another video from Planet of Death. This video was made shortly after I uploaded the one for LOON, but I never actually made it public, for several reasons.
The first several times I uploaded it, I ended up wasting several hours of work because the quality was off, or because there were artifacts left over from YouTube's re-encoding process, damaging the video.
I recently relocated the original Fraps screencap for this video, and used a different tool to merge and cut the video. Then, I re-encoded it, and re-uploaded it, to see if it would work. Although I'm still not satisfied with the video quality, it is much better than it had been before, so I'm willing to release it.
For those who haven't seen my earlier explanations, POD (Planet of Death) is a racing game first released by Ubisoft in 1997. It has developed a sort of cult following, and many people are coming back into the fold, after finding various screenshots or references to what, for many, was one of their favorite childhood racing games.
This was one of the first computer games to use accelerated 3D graphics, and was given away as an OEM disk with certain graphics cards. It will work on any modern Windows operating system, once it has had the proper updates installed. You do have to find a voodoo graphics card emulator, known as DGVoodoo, which allows you to run the game, as well as change various settings like the resolution and the processing speed.
Overall, one of my all-time favorite games, and one I will keep for years to come.
Magnetic, not magnet ! ;-)
Good work, but with the easy mode.
Thanks for the video.

Wow. You're the first to catch either of those two. Good job. And thanks for the comment. (I'll change the title in a moment. I noticed a while ago, but was too lazy to change it)

Hehe. :)
I miss Pod. Since my computer refuses, I'm waiting to buy a new one. And I want to try the special cars, and especially Iceberg.
Aaaah! I do not want to wait anymore. = P
Do you know the game well and what surrounds it? ;)

@Alexouief Do you know what operating system you are using? If you are using Windows XP or Windows Vista, installation instructions can be found at podphreak (you can search that on Google) I don't know the details of installing the game in Windows 7, however, although I know that is has been done successfully.

You know, this game is actually on ebay, if you really want it. All you have to do is search pod in video games, and then subtract stuff like ipod from the search until all you're left with is this game. A lot of them are from ebay worldwide instead of ebay USA, though.
