Of all the songs that Vangelis wrote, Hymne is undoubtedly my favorite. In The Chariot's Fire, this piece was adopted when Eric Liddle first runs in Scotland. Ever since I saw that scene with this music, I fell in love with it!

@hallomaas HD video was developed in the 1970s and was being utilised as early as 1981. While it would not be developed to its final form until the mid-1990s, there are instances of its use at events (including live performances) throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. I do not believe it was employed at this event, however.
