It is Jim Lampley.  This was the only race from 1994 that was broadcast on NBC. Every other race was on ABC/ESPN.

I miss the old shifting when drivers had to take their hands off the wheel and shift. it made it so much more challenging for the drivers and really showed who was the better driver.

I WON'T GIVE YOU an arguement i'll just agree. i think he was one of the BIGGEST wastes of talent in open wheel history....right next to jacques villeneuve, the son not the uncle.
