MuchBetter; A Jobromance {Intro}

I woke up to a crying 10 month old baby. Isabella. My little sister. Today we were going to see our parents and then to an Award Ceremony. Im Abbi, and exactly 10 months ago was the day I became alone in this world. The two people I cared about most gone. My Parents. A car crash. Just like that they were gone.
I raised my head off the pillow and then slowly got up out of bed and went to Isabella. There she lay in her cot crying. Hungry, I guess. I quickly went and got her a set of clothes I laid out last night and took her downstairs to feed her. After the normal routine of getting her up, feeding her, giving her a bath, dressing her for the day and then pack anything we would need, we were ready to go and see our parents.

It was around 1:30 pm when we arrived at the cemetery, I took Isabella out of her car-seat and grabbed the flowers from the back of the car. With Isabella in my arms along with the flowers I walked down to where my mom and dad were buried. I lay the flowers gently near the head-stone. A small tear escape from the side of my face and slowly makes it way down the side of my face and lands on the head-stone shaped book. My fingertips lingered on the phrase Live Life to the Full. I couldnt hold it any longer I broke down on my knees clutching Isabella to my chest.
After leaving the cemetery at 230 pm, I took Isabella back home and called my best friend Becky, she was going to help me get ready for the Award Ceremony. I quickly fed Isabella, I didnt want her to be hungry later during the Ceremony. Soon the doorbell rung.
Hey Becca I opened the door fully to let her in.
Hey, How you doing?
Im doing good thanks. You? We started to make our way back to the kitchen.
Yeah Im good. Well come on lets get you ready, I only have 3 and a half hours to get us all ready!
Ok, Im gonna put Isabella to bed for a little while
Ok, cool
I walked upstairs with a tired Isabella. Becky was right behind me. I slowly opened the door to Isabellas room and gently laid her in her cot. By the time I had tucked her she was already asleep. I turned around expecting Becky to be there, but she wasnt. I figured she had gone into my room to get everything set up.
I crossed the landing and went into my room, there stood Becky with two dresses in bags and a huge make-up case with her curling irons and her flat irons in either one of her hands. A big smile grew across my face, I was really happy right now. My dress was a midnight blue colour, it came just past my knees. It was strapless and clung to my body, but it has little layers of frills that start about mid-thigh length.

Beckys POV
I handed Abbi her dress and she walked into the bathroom to try it on. She walked out of the bathroom. Wow, I was speechless she looked so, so, different I guess. She had the biggest smile plastered across her face. I havent seen her smile since the day of the accident. She went for a shower and the got dressed.
Whilst she was in the shower I decided it was a good time to get myself ready. I got on my dress and then started to do my hair. I loved my dress it was all black and hung a few inches above my knees. It was also a straight line cut, which I loved! I had my black heels on with a golden colored clutch and my gold sequined hat. My hair was straight with curls at the bottom.
I then moved onto my make-up and by the time it was done Abbi was out of the shower and dressed. I preceded to do her hair first and then went to her make-up. When we were done we had 1 hour left to get Isabella ready and get there.
Next chapter will be better!! We're just getting into it all.
