  • The thing is, Evo is getting bigger each year. There are tons of great players out there that didnt have the time or means to make it to these tournaments the way Daigo or JWong or whoever can, but who may have been able to this year. Clearly, much to the dismay of his fans, Daigo isnt the best. Latif isnt either obviously, but the bottom line is, as time goes on, the top tier guys are going to get bumped aside by hungry newcomers. Thats just life, and I dont think its a bad thing.

  • Daigo losing at Evo? That is insane.

  • the announcer needs to stfu with his "OOO, OOOOO"

  • I love Latiff <3

  • fuudo won

  • @Zemogcram

a frame is the general time unit used in fighting games. It's 1/60th second. Most fighting games run showing 60 updates on the screen (frames) every second, hence the name.

Frame traps are certain type of advanced mind games.

Each frame trap is very character and situation specific.

Frame traps can make the opponent believe he can react to a situation in time, and if he tries to do that instead of being passive, he gets punished.

  • Did Latiff win the whole Evo2K11?

  • If Daigo Had Ryu He would Have Won

  • @KingsRansomFilms And for all of those who don't know Fighting Street was (Street Fighter) 1, and the controls were notoriously horrible. He then mastered every fighting capcom game that was released there after. Personally I like J Wong more than Daigo, so nobody can call me a Daigo dickrider, but even then Daigo is the alpha male dog, and Jwong is a poodle.

  • @KingsRansomFilms Apparently he mastered Fighting Street when he was 8 or 9. The only thing I mastered at 8 or 9 was how to beg for money for ice cream or freezies, and masturbation. Wait did I just say that? Scratch the last thing...lol

  • This is real talk from an oldish man gamer, and for anyone who's first system was an N64 or Sony playstation you want understand this. But Daigo is thorough bread player. There will never be another like him for some time, if ever. Latiff earned that shit, but he will never have the pedigree that Daigo has. Daigo comes from the 80's man. 80's gamers are the (OG), and the rest from the 90's are bubble gum players. In the 80's you played for high scores and respect, 90's and above (money).

  • @Zemogcram I don't know what a frame trap is but a frame is... think of it as a picture, each move you do is a picture. if you do a jab or a low punch, the moment you press it, a frame will activate which is called the starting frame then it will continue on to the hit frame where the hitbox or the body of the opponent collide and do damage, then after that the ending frame, where you return to your normal stance. I know its a little bit tricky, that's why Street Fighter is really hard to master
