  • The comments on this video are so ridiculous! You obviously have no idea how things work in Texas. I work for an anti death penalty organization and have reviewed Reggie's case many times. You saying things like "hurry and execute him!" have no clue what you are asking. What if it was YOUR brother, YOUR son, YOUR friend? And you knew in your heart that he was innocent? That he lacked proper funding and proper representation? Then what?! Do the research before you say ignorant, hurtful things.

  • Only an asshole with no clue would make such a comment like that. Deathrow is no place for ANYONE. The conditions are inhumane....not even a vicious dog that kills gets this kind of treatment. Unless you know ALL of the facts, please spare those that care your insensitivity. That yound man didn't stand a chance from the get go, as most black men in the state of Texas. Once you are in their grip, you're done. I pray to god that you never have to encounter the kind of pain that this is for ppl.

  • @Glefos how could you even think that you have the right to decide over someone else's life. Brother your wrong! only god can decide. You can agree with this guys death, but you don't know if he is guilty of innocent so why are you convicting him already without even knowing the full story, not what the jury convicted him. Il pray for you...

  • governor rick perry??? OMG! jesus please bless this men and stop the killing. i pray he never becomes a candidate for president!!! i can't even believe that he is running for the presidential position. i will never vote for this guy!!!

  • @espinlk We execute people who commit first degree murder with special circumstances as punishment. And if life in prison was worse than execution, murderers wouldn't fight the sentence. You antis keep repeating the most ridiculous arguments. You don't even think - you just spout.

  • @crdajaisyl This wan't a law of parties case. The prosecution alleged and proved that Reginald Blanton was the shooter.

  • kill the mom too....

  • FEEL BAD FOR THE MOM.SHES HAS TO GO THROW THIS.

  • For those of you that are not familiar with the Law of parties. There are men on death row that are innocent of murder. They may be guilty of a lesser crime but not murder. Cops against the death penalty on myspace, speaks about a perfect example of this unjust law. This particular individual was 30 miles away from the crime scene, did not know a crime would be committed and he is waiting execution for a murder he did not know would happen.

  • We punishpeople for killing by killing them? Hmmm, such an easy way out. If they are truly guilty, let them rot in prison for the rest of their natural life and let them never forget what it is that they have done. Plus if someone committed a brutal crime, why would we let them pleasantly go to sleep. I'm against execution. And moms don't always think their kids are innocent.

  • Moms ALWAYS believe that their kids are innocent. He is always "a good kid" who got in with the "wrong crowd"...spare me, please! Complaining about the food on death row and all...please, dont commit crimes and it wont happen...and Im gonna make someone angry with my next statement, but Im gonna say it. These parents who can never see any wrong in their children, who always think the kids problems are everyone elses fault, who only see their children as victims..they help to produce monsters!

  • I did some researching on the Blanton case, and I dont see where everyone comes to the conclusion that he was innocent. I found no facts to exonerate him, only facts which led me to believe in his guilt. I am not biased, and I have no connection with the victim, Blanton, or the state. Almost everyone on death row claims to be innocent, and they get alot of naive people to go along. Murderers should be executed. I feel bad for mom, but the her son chose a path to this place.
