@kenzeetwo I played guitar on that recording. Our band was "The Rumblers," but the studio heads changed it to Ramblers because it sounded more sanitary I guess. We recorded in San Francisco and were some of the first to use studio overdubbing (1961). Sly was a lot of fun to be around back then. Later that summer we played Lake Tahoe. BTW, we never received one dime for the many nights of recording sessions. We recorded around 4 songs, including "Yellow Moon."

Sly Stone in his prehistorical era! Just a Genius

It's Tropo (101), and which version..."The Viscaynes & The Ramblers", or "The Viscaynes only"? They both have the same record number.

That song is excellent and different from most of the other songs of that time. It's a good dance song too. I knew Sly when he was young at Grant School during the summer at GVRD park there. And I also see Charlene at various dinners, She has a great voice. thank for playing it. Jim

Hey Sis,
That is great, so glad we are able to hear this once again. Your voice is so pretty. Like fine crystal.
