Red Rockers perform Dead Heroes at The Mabuhay Gardens in about 1981. Directed by Larry Nimmer and Pat Krijanek... thanks to Dirk Dirksen... the soul of my punk memories.
The actual shooter/director's name was Patrick Kriwanek, his first video with his then business partner Larry Nimmer, who also shot on this. Video Produced by the legendary Howie Klein of 415 records, done in 10 takes, back to back at the Mabuhay Gardens, Summer of 1982. Took a month to edit with no time code and no slates, played in clubs on Rockamerica before MTV.
Red Rockers just don't cut it here doing their we're the Louisiana Clash thing. "China"'s a great song though as are a few songs off of their second album.
Excellent slammers.

definitely too derivative of the Clash. They evolved into a more melodic band

China was a complete sell out. This is what I remember. Long live The Rat Finks!

Thanks for posting this. This is the first time I got to see my cousin Pat Jones on the drums. We still have the "Condition Red" album.
