  • @ValerieBarlow I know, right! She comes across very well. :)

  • is Fiona Spence and relation to Bruce Spence of Road Warriors?

  • just got hold of 1st 100 episodes looking forward to watching

  • This interview was on TV-AM, the early morning breakfast show aired on ITV/STV from 1983-1992. I assume this must be at some point from 1990-92 as it was around this time of the original PCBH run in the UK. They showed PCBH in Scotland on STV on a Thursday. Also Fiona Spence was on Home n Away that aired in the UK around this time.

Lorraine Kelly is still a presenting a similar time slot on the same channel 20 years later

  • @krystlerita True. She has aged really well and looks good for someone in her early 60's. She must have had alot of men after when she was younger especially in her Prisoner days. It turns out she is a lesbian and met her life partner on the set of Prisoner.

  • hot pink

  • That person interviewing Fiona sounded like a total clueless wank. He reminded me of the typical creepers that used to stalk Princess Diana, stripping her naked of her privacy for their perverted pleasure in whatever format they could achieve.....

  • Carol Burns' character Frankie Doyle was the one who labelled Vera (Fiona Spence) 'Vinegar Tits' in the first episode. Most of the cast were Aussie, although Amanda Muggleton (Chrissie Latham) was British, Tommy Dysart (Jock Stewart) was Scottish, Betty Bobbit (Judy Bryant) was American. Best inmate was the top dog, Bea Smith (Lehmann). Patsy King was also from the UK. (I followed the series when it was current on TV in the 80s)

  • I wish I could've seen a Sheila Florance!
