@am1966ath I live in Indonesia, that makes me know about Garuda improvements. Well, if you still not sure, you can try to open wikipedia and search for "garuda indonesia" In english versions, you can see where are garuda's destination and the plane type.

@Boeingloverzz Are you sure..I only see their(GARUDA) A330S flying around..when Garuda stopped flying to Europe in 1997 I think the B744 became to large to operate, Garuda has always, except for Tokyo, used the Airbus and also before the DC10 and MD11 to Australia and Korea via Singapore, always Singapore.........why via Singapore
I thought that those stops were made obsolete today??

@am1966ath The 747-400 are used for Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Middle East route.

@am1966ath It's because there are so many plane crashes in Indonesia, so the airports in europe put garuda in the blacklist. But don't worry, starting from July 2010 Garuda has started to fly again to Amsterdam, they are allowed to enter europe again. Their european network might be restored soon. Right now, garuda has ordered 10 Airbus A330-200 and 10 777-300ER that might be used for international flight.

@270419921 My friend, I remember when Garuda in the 1980S flew to Madrid,Frankfurt,Paris,Gatwick
,Munich,Cairo..then in 1997 they just cancelled their whole european network..strange..Indonesia is a huge nation with big importance in business and tourism. -
