Neolamprologus pulcher aka Daffodil Cichlid

This is my first time keeping Tang. I decided to go with the Daffodi. Very beautiful fish. Their fins gets very long. My Daff are in a 20L. 2male and 1female. I am waiting for a pair to form then get rid of the extra fish.

@khaki91 Hey great cichlid u got there. I had the silver brichardis. And i recently bought me one of those daffodil ones. Man those get extremely georgeouse when they reach adult hood. They had some on display at a local pet store. And when i saw them i just fell in love with them.

I know how you feel Khaki. When i got my first Tang, i was a little freaked. There are like 5-6 times more cichlids then in Malawi. So i was a little muddled. Lol. So i picked out my temporalis pair and they have had a few batches of babies. They are now moved into a 10G from a 5G and i left their current batch in the 5 and just use that as the growout for the temps. :D

have they paired up yet...how hard are they to keep relative to mbuna?

Yes, they have! I got tons of fry. I dont recommend them with mbuna because they mbunas love nipping on their tails and long fins.

they are very active. I recorded this right after i tossed them in so they were kinda afraid. I really dont recommend keeping Daff in anything smaller than a 20gallon and that's what i have them in. Thanks for watching.
