Maxx Paddles and self made snowchains give pretty good traction on snowy surface. Throwing around the brushless 3905 E-Maxx for over half an hour with 4 cells - ESC thermalled in the end.
Specs:
BK Wanderer 20XL06 motor
MGM ComPro TMM 12018-3 Expert Hydro ESC
2 x MaxAmps 7,4v 8000mAh lipos

  • I don't think it thermalled at the end, its called WATER DAMAGE GENIOUS!!!!!!

  • @Scrappy12rlall

One with less knowledge about ESC's would think that.

MGM is waterproof and is working ok as we speak.

  • mitä vantaita käytit noissa renkaissa? kun en ole löytänyt sopivia

  • HPI:n Q6 on vanne. Kait tuohon käypi mikä vaan 14mm heksillä oleva monsuvanne.

  • vai oot myymässä tote peliä huuto netissä? oisko mahdollista ostaa vain joitakin kuten elekrtoniikkaa ja renkaita tai lipoja? aluaisi itekkin saman laisen mut on jo auto ja runko

  • @Arcticcat60099 I said it's horrible, not completely ineffective lol, obviously it's better than nothing. Why do you think double-paned windows insulate so much better? It's because the tiny amount of air in between the two glass sheets doesnt conduct heat as well as glass does. So when I said its horrible, I meant compared to other things like water, metal etc. You'll also notice that even though your snowmobile engine is burning hot after use, you can hold your hand right next to it.

  • @RyguyCC how does it keep air cooled snowmobile motors cold if its a horrible conductor?

  • @RyguyCC how does it keep air cooled snowmobile motors cold if its a horrible conductor?

  • @legostuffguy thermalling is very easy in snow, the same with deep grass, water, going uphill etc. Anything that adds resistance to the vehicles movement = motor heat. Just because its cold outside makes very little difference, air is a horrible conductor

  • Vehicle looks great in the snow!

I would personally love to see a Losi LST2 or their new bigger LST with brushless conversion in snow.

  • so brushless motors can handle the snow?

  • Thoughs have to be stock Nimh batteries, right????

  • how did you get it to thermal in snow?

  • how good is your experience with MGM controller?
