@merddyn2002 In theory it is not true that an armed or weaponised population can resist the government. European Jewry would still have been murdered. Of course had the jews and gypsies and homosexuals and mentally handicapped each had a neuclear bomb under their beds, ready for deplymet, ten yes, They would have still been exterminated with the satisfaction the all LIFE dies too. WHat the USA needs is the fruits of the renaisance, rationalism and humanism. Or, common sense it lately lacks.

If the Native Americans had guns...we wouldnt be having this conversation. If the African slaves had firearms...they never would have been slaves. I believe in the right to bear arms to a certain degree. But I feel that it was written when the United States was fighting Britian, and afterwards felt they would be in another war with Britain. it is outdated a bit, and I hate it when people associate arms with fire arms when there are other arms as well such as a knife, or a club.

Oh there were Jews killed.., as well as Catholics. Also targeted/murdered were alcoholics, people with any type of mental illness, the mentally retarded, and anyone who wasn't considered a perfect specimen. Many of these people were used as slave labor and either worked or starved to death.
