Do you guys do any mechanical/Timbco falling over there, or is it too steep for that? I'm a bucker that works in the Lake Almanor area in Northeastern CA. It's all mechanical over here except for the biggest ones, quite a few 3.5' to 4' butts. I buck alot of trees our Tigercat operator knocks over too because his machine can knock down fairly good size ones, he can't pack em' though.

Yah, they are over here. Predomantly on the cat ground though. It is a little rougher goin on the coast. Having cut out of Westwood and Paradise, I have a little understanding on the ground you reference.
Thanks for watching!

how do you like that saw

The 390XP is a nice running saw once it is "zipped". All things being equal, they cut as good as, if not better than, the 066 with a 3 cc displacement disadvantage. I just wish when the engineers had designed them a little more narrow, like the 288 for example.
