the vq engine i have pushed it to 11psi stock everything, as long as your engine is not pinging and your fuel delivery is good. but more than 8psi on 10.5:1 compression is high already.
just under 400rwhp on stock VQ seems to be the common limit.

its a good kit, you will be happy with 7psi. around 350rwhp

polish and balance your crank, revup oil pump. oil cooler is a must
and your good to go
