  • This dog is on top of the rang-order in your house.

  • this is funny

  • My Berner does the same. She jumps and bites when she plays and occasionally bites when not playing but she's only 7 months old. I love my Berner!! (Her name is Lucy)

  • thats a strong dog

  • I live in Omaezaki and have a Bernese ,I take him to the beach everyday but he loves being inside too

    Where do you live ?

My dog Dave needs a friend he is 1 year old and too big to play with other dogs ,they are scared of him and then they try to fight him which is a stupid thing to do because he will sit on them

  • I couldnt leave mine, hed cry he is part of the family, couldnt leave him on his own in the dark and rain! I try to do that to my mama and she said you dont do that to family....so BOOM!! :)

  • @amirjon

i know what i am talking about because i have one, it has 70 kg and no way that dog is gonna enter the house because with his half meter tail, it breaks every single thing in the garden. imagine that big inside.. plus, he is the winter dog, so dont tell me he enjoys beeing inside on 25 degrees, while outside is 5, when for him +10 celsius degrees is hot. AND YES IT IS A MOUNTAIN DOG originally from SUISSE Alpes.

  • Also, notice as soon as you've had enough, she stops immediately and goes to licking and kisses. PERFECT behavior. Good berners know when to play, when to play a bit more rough and exactly when to stop.

  • Great Berner! My berner likes to play like this as well. It is natural. Mine sometimes doesn't know its own strength or size.

Also (other commenters) Bernese Mountain Dogs do not belong solely in the mountains... mine never wants to be further than 3' away from me. If I leave a room she follows. If I go for a car ride she wants to be in the car. If I go to bed, she wants to sleep next to the bed. They are family oriented and it is largely recommended you DO NOT keep them outside by themselves.

  • my neighbor has one of these but his is like a horse its HUGE it licks my face on all fours maybe it has to step up a little bit but its huge i once saw it move a car, okay maybe it didnt but it is still a beast and for some reason it loves to savagly attack me on the beach, and by attack i mean give me a nice spit bath.
