@chechomsky If one commentor sees the elegance and maturity of this performance, but you don't see it, then that may be the other person's problem. If everyone sees the elegance and maturity of this performance but you cannot see it, then that is definitely your problem.

@Euxiphipops77 Chen would have won. In the old scoring system, if two skaters have the same total score from a judge in the long program, that judge's 1st place ordinal would go to the skater that received the higher artistic score.
By the way, that's how I would have scored them too.

A question to all knowers. I would give 5.8 6.0 to Chen Lu and 5.9 5.9 to Michele. Which of them would have won??

oh lu chen is such a beautiful skater-she is the whole package-tecnique, artistry, choreography-and i agree with manderson610 about appreciating the beauty and elegance of both Lu and Michelle. i miss them both too and the sheer elegance of their skating!!!! it was such an honor and priveledge to be able to watch their extraordinarily beautiful skating!!!! thanks sososo much for posting this beautiful video of lu chen as i have missed seeing her skate!!!!!

She was my favorite skater during her time! No one, I mean no one was more lovely to watch! Even with todays skaters and the new rating system, this program would seem a classic and very tough to beat. I missed her for years after she left to become a professional. I only hope she is still involved somehow in the sport to which she brought such beauty and joy to watch.

Can't we just appreciate both Chen AND Kwan without getting nasty? Both were elegant skaters who knew how to skate to music and be artistic, unlike the new style of figure skating today. I miss both of them and what they brought to the sport. Stop the childish bickering already!

@JNagarya Yes so Barb Underhill and Tracy Wilson must be Kwan haters since they both said Chen should have won. Go back under your rock retard. Your crazed obsession over Kwan is pathetic and downright scary, and your complete lack of knowledge of skating is an even bigger disgrace. Need I remind everyone you are the one who said the 94 Olympics team should have been Harding and Kwan, hahaha. Kwan would be disgusted and frankly terrified to know she had a stalker like you.
