Berlusconi calls "hero" the Mafia member Vittorio Mangano [eng sub]

Once upon a time, Berlusconi hired a man to work as broom at his villa: his name was Vittorio Mangano and, incidentally, he was also a Mafia member, that will be sentenced to imprisonment for murder and similar nice stuff.

Asked a comment about him, Berlusconi shows to agree with his friend Marcello Dell'Utri: Mangano, was an "hero", since he never "make up" anything against Berlusconi; he was a victim of life's circumstances and so on.

Very nice, but in Italy Mafia is not Godfather or Sopranos: they are men that kills for real, that threaten for real, that controls vast areas of our country with support of political power and murdered many motivated persons that tried to stop them.

Now, a politician, a Prime Minister claiming that one of those men who made such things can be defined an hero is something that should be universally considered as unforgivable. In Italy, instead, we are worried about the bad image caused by reporting Mafia crimes....
