Scattered Sunshine is one of several straight-forward extensions of the Martin's Madness passing pattern. As with Martin's Madness, the pattern reverses upon itself every six beats from the feeder's perspective, causing the feeder to perform a hand-across. The feeder juggles ultimates, passing two out of three beats to one feedee, and one beat to the other. In this video, the feeder is passing diagonals (left-to-left and right-to-right) to the feedee on the camera's left; and straights (right-to-left and left-to-right) with the other feedee.
The feedee on the left is juggling Mild Madness, a pass-pass-self pattern with straight passes and a hand-across every six beats. The feedee on the right is juggling a modified Jim's 3-Count in which passes alternate between straight and diagonal throws.
Jugglers (left-to-right): John Stamey, Eric Sunshine, Chris Allington. Filmed 2003-02-12 at the Motor City Juggling club in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
