i dont put chemicals in my natural hair and i refuse to wear weaves that dont look like my natural hair if at all. i wont wear anything that makes is straight and long . not interested, been there and done that over the yrs, so the weave that Solange Knowles wears is more authentic to me i wouldnt wear that much hair its not the seventies but she is young enough to get away with it.. good for her .. and its such a contrast to beyonces blonde phase.. whats up with all that blonde hair already?

@choocoolooksable its difficult i think there is this romantic notion that we all wear our hair naturally because we are africans and have to have a more "simplified " outlook because national geographic shows mud huts and grass skirts so when americans come to our countries they are in cultural shock, lol! it always amuses me to see the shock from their faces right from the airport in lagos anyway , last time i went home, i could spot the american visitors a mile off .. lmao!

I went to a Nigerian and all of them were in lace African suit and their head were tie, I was wondering how they did it

Omg! This is so beautiful! I'm going to start wearing one to enhance my facial features plus my boyfriend from korea likes it. He said I look like Nefertiti especially when I make it a little taller lol. You're beautiful.^_^

@sshapewa ..well I hope you're referring to African Black women who live in africa too. bcause i am not Nigerian and visiting my inlaws for the first time 2 yrs almost made me look twice at my boarding pass.(am i in AFRICA?? ) i was the probably the only black woman wearing 'my' Natural' hair in that place.. The women were adorned like Weave Galore..( my Nigerian husband definitely couldn't lose me in that Weave Fest,,.. Black woen are awakening now..i hope..( its ok to show yr true naps)
This was very helpful!!!! Thank you.
