No cameras are allowed in the building during the dog auction. I was reminded of this in the parking lot following the assault and ejection of a young female protester. It was very apparent that the auction scenes inside weren't going to be available for a humane, dog loving, public. It's difficult to believe this is happening in a state thought of as a leader in setting standards for animal husbandry. Clark County WI has become a nesting ground for the Puppy Mill Industry and the dog auction, in part, facilitates processing this industry's waste.
i think my jaw literally fell to the floor when i saw 2 police officers standing there =o

@noerww it is most certainly NOT a dog show. The Thorpe WI dog auction is an auction for puppy mills to sell their stock to other millers.
