@nbamorreale1 hey I was rooting for them this year hate the Heat lol, but remember mavs are getting older time will catch up and they will start sucking at some point soon. Good for Dirk for getting his ring though.

i think the mavs shouldnt have fired Avery Johnson its not his fault that Tim Duncan in his prime was a monster & that Spurs had a better team overall. Management should have helped him acquire better players by getting bigger to contend.

(part 2) But you don't seem to get that. Otherwise you would cite his defensive SHUT OUT of D Wade the other night, or his 20 assist night (beating Magics all time assist position). You don't acknowledge it because you're biased. Cp3, Deron Williams, these guys have not done half of what Kidd has. When they do, then it's a discussion. Until then, respect the guys career and actually observe the absolute bludgeoning he gives defenders every night.

Buddy, you have no idea what you're talking about. Statistically, visually, he has his CAREER YEAR two years ago, and was on par to beat those averages with his work the first half of last years season. He is also the best 3 pt shooter on the mavs right now. Declining? The guy is in his mid 30's, so no shit he isn't going to be sticking to younger guys (defensively), but he has something far more important abd rare. Basketball IQ, and that is enough for a guy like Kidd to succeed.

buddy, JKidd is definitely declining. I've been a fan of his since his rookie year and watched him in his prime time in jersey when he took them to the finals.
JKidd peaked in those Finals years and his decline started in the year the nets lost to detroit in game 7 of the conference finals. He was slower than Billups and played that whole series on a busted knee. After the surgery anyone who watched the Nets loyally clearly noticed that it wasn't the same.
In the finals years, he was a beast.

Kidd is making everyone better on the Mavs I can see that already, but if Dirk gets hurt or Kidd gets hurt the Mavs will never win the finals with this team. That's why this might be a bad trade in the long run
