@TheEgyptianOne salaam,hmmmm thats a wierd comment, i didnt knw u had to be frm a certain country in order to teach others about the worlds delicious foods,im not indian or middle eastern,just a down to earth american muslim who enjoys food from all over,,,,great work ladies,love all of ur recipes,inchallah i will be making some for ramadan this yr :)

For people making this for the first time, you may want to only use 1 tablespoon of tahini, taste it, and then decide if you want more or not. Too much will make it taste bitter/sour.

@TheEgyptianOne FYI they did put garlic in it at 0:58.And I don't think there is a law
against making dishes that are not from your country.My dad is from the Middle East
and I tried his Hummus and Hetal and Anuja's to me they tasted the SAME.And
thats not how u spell Indians!!

@rxmusic1 : We know folks who have but we have never used it so really can't tell you if there is a difference in flavor or texture. If you do try it, pl. let us know how it worked out :)

You are absolutely right! We were just offering a quick shortcut, but if you have the time, soaking and boiling is the best way.
