Wendell Lewis "Skip" Hammons Jr. is currently serving as District Judge for Laurel and Knox counties.
Hammons has practiced law for 19 years. He received his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1991 and his bachelor's degree from Union College.
Hammons and his wife, Teresa, reside in Barbourville.

If you want to be tough, be tough on the murderers and rapists. Not non-violent drug offenders. Wow...be true to your name and just skip the petty crap. We do have real issues here in Knox County that need to be addressed.
Like I said, voters lost here.
