i have a true 383 stroker in a 1984 mazda rx7 it is a 350sbc bored 0.60 with a 350 crank and im making 500hp at the crank with out the N.O.S i would like to know whats done to that motor 2 that gives it 575 hp if it is with out the bottle cuz on the bottle i make another 350hp so thats 850hp all together

@egokiller73 my 575 hp are with out n.o.s and i add 100 hp with n.o.s only because i have an stock chevy block not an race block, it's limit for my engine.It's very nice to install an engine like this in an rx7 cause you have an light car !my car is heavy , 3600 pounds... see camaro84.monchar.com

@chevymotor oh i know i use to have a 86 z28 camaro with a 355sbc in it with about 450hp ran high 12's and the rx7 runs 9.98 @136mph

yea i'd like to know what is in this making 575hp, the exhaust could be throwing me off quite a bit but the cam doesn't sound much more than 230-240° @ .050. is that 575 on spray, as the 575hp to 487tq is a bit one sided as spray tends to do. i like the car as you can see by my name i like 3rd gens. i have an 87' with a 385cid, 248/252 @ 050 with .582/.582" (intake has a corrected lift of .620" with 1.6 rockers), 10.4:1 compression, DART 215cc platinum pro 1's with additional work done

@my87z28see this h t t p: //camaro 84.monchar.com , on gear 3,73 without spray, stock shock and 3600 pounds on 1/4 milles my time is 12,08 and with 100 shoot NOS 11,26 at 120 mph...with 240 hp and stock engine 15,5sec should be an good time on 1/4 milles I don't need heavy noise for have 575 hp, long headers, y pipe ,resonator, 3 1/2 inch magnaflow exhaust in one line is good for this ! 11.3:1 compression give me an supplement of power with my 388 when good adjust but it heats more

@egokiller73 Well your first problem is that you dont have a 383 stroker. First off get a 400 crank and then we can start talking.

@chevymotor on this website you list 355 stroker 388 now a 355 is a 350/ 4.000" bored to 4.030" you can not make this bore into a 388. a standard bore 4.000 with a 3.75" crank is a 376cid, a 4.030" with a 3.75 crank is a 383cid, a 4.040" with a 3.75 crank is a 385 and a 4.060" with a 3.75 crank is a 388.
