A nice car, OK, and the road was reasonable, too , but would you get the same performance on a frosty winter night with heater and headlights on? The video sounds and looks almost too much like a "Promotor's Speil".

How about Tesla conquering Pike's Peak? That would really be a boost for sales.

The car actually performs as well or better in the cold. A lot of power is consumed by the air conditioner that cools the battery pack as it discharges. Winter just keeps the batteries at operating temp even better.

Glad you compare it to a Promotor's Speil -- next time I'll ask them for money and not just the chance to drive!!!

Yeah I wanted to hear more of it too. That shot inside the car at 4:20 sounded like the Enterprise blasting into warp 9.

I just wish they'd do away with the soundtrack and let us listen to the cool sound of Tesla electric motor for once! That's one of the things that makes it famous...

In the next drive, I'll mic it so you can hear the sounds - one of my thoughts as well. With camera stuck to the fender I knew there'd be too much wind noise.
