We were lucky enough to be able to film Bioware's CEO and Co-founder whom many refer to as "The Two Doctors" Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk, in one of their indepth talks about Bioware's history, the forthcoming MMO The Old Repubilc and a Q+A session. When these guys get together to talk it's always enthralling, this time is no exception, enjoy it. The room was absolutely packed so we're sharing it with you guys so you get to experience it as well.

  • I'm reminded of the Bard's Tale when everytime you died the Bard would say 'but that's not how it really happened...' and then loading the previous save and I expect that to happen a lot in those Multiplayer story sequences. It only takes one idiot to pick the option with the least desirable outcome or worse skipping through the dialogue so you only get to see the outcome in a custscene. How has that been reconciled?

  • I am in the TOR beta. The game WILL sell millions and be hugely successful. That said it is not “next gen” it is “old school” and it IS being rushed to launch. Not trying to troll or bash the game, just giving you fair warning. If you are excited about the game you WILL love it, but don’t expect perfection at launch; the game still needs another six months of alpha.

  • I will await DA3, but 2 years dev time and a early preorder is a sign of weakness, a good game stand on its own merits, not hoping most people buy it before they ever see how the game is in general.

  • I cannot find the reply to my comments, but sending down AoE effects upon everywhere is kind of overpowered and loses all the thinking when you can stand amidst the rain of fireballs and don't even consider the fact that your character is in it. I miss the days where you didn't need nightmare difficulty to have to think when placing these powerful spells. They got more power, but less responsibility. I miss balance, I want my character to a part of the world, not a OP fucker among drooling fools

  • blah blah blah .. so is there going to be multiplayer in ME3 or not ?

  • I kind of expected that things would go down hill the moment EA announced that they would merge their biggest RPG studios under the Bioware banner.

I remained hopeful, but DA2 kind of proof'd me correct: Not all Bioware titles would be gold, or even high quality, but DA2 was actually crap in my opinion. Mythic was never on par with Bioware when it came into RPGs, and i think its that influence i see. It took them about 1 year after total merge to publish first bad game.

    Its not Bioware i knew.
