Been here twice, and it just has a magical aura that touches anyone who pays a visit...

TIP: Get a private longboat (via Phi Phi Le) and go to Maya Bay at abt 5.30pm - in time to watch the most amazing sunset(it will give you goosebumps!)

Its never cold in Phi Phi. We me some v. helpful people at The Beach Resort on Phi Phi Long BEach and they know when the last big tourist boat leaves, which is just enough time to see the most beautiful sunset after having the beach all for yrself...but dont tell anyone....

Ask for a Mr Roger @ The Beach Resort and tell him yr a friend of Don - he'll look after you

Hey Kelly, we still keep in touch with one of the managers from the hotel there. Check out 'The Beach Resort' and ask for Roger or Mr Lam, and tell him Don Ranil sent you. We had a beautiful resort up on the mountain looking straight out to the other island and looked after us with rates..

He can also give you a personal guided tour on a longboat - awesome dude. LEt me know how u go..

the amount of tourist that come there and boats pollution have fkd up the beauty.i was there 02/08 and it has lost its beauty....a damn shame.

Have you ever been to Koh Phi Phi where the film The Beach was filmed, because of tourism on account of the film the location is being totally destroyed, chartered speed boats litter the whole bay and the smell of petrol is totally vile, that is the cost of what the film has bought, shame really

Very good video DonRanil! But "The Best Video"? Hmmm? Yes it does get cold out on Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh. Sometimes in the late evenings during the months of June through August it can get a little chilly. I know a few long tail boat guys that will take you out to Phi Phi Leh at night. Now that is a sight to see. Next time you are out there go to Lady Dang's down by the Apache Bar and ask her husband to take you out in the evening. Peace! ~Ted
