  • Jack appeared on What's my line, and signed in as Heifitz.

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • my 2 favorite comedians Lucille Ball and Jack Benny

I wish they made more comedy shows like this today

  • This is utter ... !! Ha ha...Oh the Hilarity !

  • It was Benny's great sense of TIMING that made him a superlative comedian and a very fine musician. He has a great rhythmic sense and his comedic violin turns were appreciated by amateur and professional alike.

  • Pure gold. What a funny sketch. No wonder Jack Benny was so popular in his time. And his violin skills were not that bad either. Of course he was first a comedian and made the violin bow screech, and mistakes across the fingerboard, but that was part of the show. He actually played quite well in the intermediate level, and practiced the instrument frequently. In his late years he was the owner of a Strad.

  • the king having fun...

  • Ha ha ha, briliant! 7:20 - 7:28

  • @Flaminggential Edward MacDowell's "To a Wild Rose". Popular piano piece from the early 20th Century. It's out there, still in print. This violin version is an arrangement.
