This original 23.98 FPS movie clip has been processed with Avisynth and Avanti software to re-create a live video look. This processing can be used on old TV kinescope recordings from the 1950's and 1960's to give an idea of how the video would have looked when transmitted live.

  • Good processing job! Brings the TAMI Show to life! Lesley is great on this big hit song!

  • @majikcolors . Thanks for your comments! Actually if you pump it up to 60FPS, instead of the 30FPS here, it's quite hard to tell the difference from an original videotape clip. It just goes to show that 35mm film would have been an excellent and relatively cheap way to "permanently" record live or videtaped television in the 1950s and 1960s, if you only knew you could reprocess it with a computer back to almost "live" quality.
