Build the nation ...CAST YOUR VOTE.
A consumerist way of thinking of the vote-
People chose not to vote because they think their single vote does not count.
Every vote counts.
Non-voters don't get any immediate gratification in voting and so do not realize the impact (voting is not a vending machine). They think not voting sends a message in the same way that people think not buying a specific product sends a message. BUT....BUILDING A NATION IS DIFFERENT FROM MANUFACTURING or SELLING or BUYING A PRODUCT.
Non-voters need to realize they invest in govt everyday and if they don't vote or take action, they indirectly are allowing corruption or drift from important issues.
Mind it.....Non-action is action.
No matter how many citizens there are in India, a single vote is a reminder that a democracy fundamentally comes from the voice of an individual. We recognize the sacrifices made on our behalf by those who have come before us. A vote is the connection between you and your government. It is a solid, direct, tangible action linking you to the laws and leaders who rule the country. There is a bit of everyone in each elected leader.

this of course could be very different in India... but you can see how the west is destroying India in the pose of helping it. Monsanto, do i need say more.
Some of the best farmers in the world have taken their own lives in what happened and this was always on the cards.
They need to hear the voices of the non voters instead of only counting yes votes.

In the UK though many do not realize it voting is contracting with the government and consenting to the rule of statute and mainly bullshit.
I dont vote because I choose not to contract with any government who cannot explain why we are still paying off debts that do not belong to us. Income tax for example. there is no real law that says we have to pay, only statutes that only apply to those who consent to be governed.
I can govern myself. no consent...no vote. common law.common sense
