@SuperShredder89 I'd rather listen to well-written yet simple music than technical music devoid of any personality or emotion. Music isn't a sport, its an art form, its not about who can play the fastest or who has the best range, its about who can actually convey emotions through their lyrics and music.

rap is recited words set to a usually simple and repetative track. any 1st year idiot of music could write rap as the lyrics dont even require a melody.

There's emotion in technical music; Fury, hate, anger. The really crazy technical bands(the stuff that sounds like horrible noise) are aiming for chaos and confusion.

what the hell are you talking about? Grindcore has nothing whatsoever to do with technicality...it's all about anger and rage. If you want technicality, go listen to atheist, but you're just a dumbass if that's all you look for in music...the fact that you listen to "technical" music doesn't make intellectually superior to anyone.

lets not lose sight of some top rap bands, public enemy had a vicious political message, nwa tho over the top gangster cheese, still pushed the lyrics of morality and decency, and im sure weve all been stoned to cypress hill, ...just enjoy music, listen to the good stuff, ignore the shit,..ignore genres, you can like cannibal corpse and radiohead, its ok!!.....
