-CHAPTER 21: Arkeyan Armory [7m 50s]-
For me, doing well in this one all comes down to the key character to use in the War Machine section of the level. Just like the cannons, the eight elements all respond differently inside the cannon.

I've only really had a chance to look at Air (from my first run), Fire (from my second) and Magic (from this one); again, air Skylanders are pathetic shooters, with 3 shots one after another that don't always hit all at once, and when they do they only do 200 points of damage, not good enough for the Automatons. Fire fares better with a single shot clocking up around 350, killing the Automatons in 2 hits. And from discovering with magic, that has twin fire that when hit at the same time brings down 450 hp per shot but it STILL kills Automatons in 2 shots. I may need to experiment with them later and see what kind of attack differences there are across all elements.

Going by my (rather understated) research, I went with Spyro for most of the run, and switched to Bash for the Ultron ambush whilst delivering the key card.

Just like with chapter 12, the music used during the outtake section is the Excitebike portion of norg's Mega Man 2 medley "Inhabitants of the Dwelling", available at dwellingofduels.net :)

Unyielding Garrison: I need to show more caution with the levers and the turrets with the second and third monster gates. I'm often prone to forget something somehow.
Halls of Molten Fire: A long shooting gauntlet. It's cool riding it the first time around, but can start getting tedious if you keep getting knocked down by the enemy War Machine. So for me, it's one go or bust.
The Crucible: A better enemy gate run.
The Vault: I need to remember the switch......
The Crucible 2: I also need to not quite be so distracted when aiming towards the switch......
The Vault 2: I didn't want to play any risks here after the outtake run, which I originally assumed was me switching Skylanders too fast. But when Bash came in, he completely TRASHED the Ultrons... and almost himself in the process. Good transition back prior to the first two switches for the Eternal Magic Source's container, and the second switch to me was the sweetest. Kind of took a wrong direction to the third temporarily though, but once that was set I remained focused for the level's prize.

And enjoy the outtake, with another ridiculous bug! :P

Thank you ^_^
