It is no wonder there are world wars. Most people seem unable to accept anothers opinion when it is different than their own, or to listen to the voice of an artist express a song, when that voice is foreign to their ear. What we deem as acceptable tonally is a learned social skill. So, if you are stupid and don't like it, don't listen. If you are smart and don't like it, listen again, and again, until you find something in it you like.

She needs to pronounce the words more, she sounds like she's mumbling. And there are moments when she sounds great but others were she sounds pretty bad.

@PrepB3 she's not a hippy Cartman
this is more on the lines of what i expect this song to sound like. no disrespect to Cher, the italian gypsy that she is. The pure dirtyness of the vocals is fantastic and makes me wish the world would embrace more singers like this instead of the crap they do like Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and other crap like that.

I dig the singer a lot....you can hear the power in her voice on the line, "I was sixteen he was twenty one..."....great version....very much a Celtic vibe...maybe a more accurate depiction of what the songwriter imagined.
