Tomorrow it will be a month and I have to either take them out REALLY soon or get my edges done already! I can't leave these in as long because my hair grows quicker now that its all natural so I have to make a decision VERY quickly!!!

Your braids are cute! Are you afraid that your edges will get damaged though? Or is there something you do to protect them? If so, let me know!

Braids are great! I've got too much hair to deal with in the morning. I was out of my braids a good week before I put them right back in.

Nov 3rd makes 3months for my braids. I'm taking them down Saturday, and getting them back on Sunday. The more new growth I get the more I like it! My new growth and edges are pretty curly.  I'm in it for the long-haul (1-2 years again) for the FINAL time..NO MORE PERM! :) Your hair looks FAB!

did your hairbraider have a problem catching your twa or what i have an appointment with this african lady and shes really good she looked at mine and said yes i can braid your hair then i realized that my hair has grown

grl i know thats right because our edges are s fragile im going to get some gel twists some people call them coils i found out about this own youtube also but there cute on the sistas but anyway thanks for responnding bye

I was in that Buy and Try phase for awhile. As soon as I saw 2 women on YouTube recommend a product, I was out the door! LOL. In a way that was good for me, because it helped me learn what works for my hair. Your braids look awesome. Remember to massage daily. If possible, give your hair a break between braided styles. I also take a vitamin supplement called Biotin. It's great for hair and nail growth.
