Here's a song and dance number for fans of the late Robert Goulet. This performance is from "The Red Skelton Hour", December 13, 1966. Dancing with Mr. Goulet are the girls of "The Tom Hansen Dancers". I apologize for the audio interference.
Goulet had the most dynamic baritone voice around. He was the one guy who could put any amount of golden volume into it and still keep the tone quality. 'If Ever I Would Leave You' is a good example, a tremendously beautiful rendition of the song.
I love the Tom Hansen Dancers. They knocked my teenage heart for a loop back then. You should try to obtain the clip of a performance that was scheduled in March of '68 with Tom Jones as guest. The "You Came a Long Way from St. Louis" number was a memorable one; at least for me it was.
Yeah, this was really tough duty for Goulet to hang around with all those pretty girls! :-)
Goulet was one Mr. Cool hep cat and gorgeous - oh my! He crossed genres like crazy giving this performance as a fast swing number, which was amazing considering his earlier operatic training.

Goulet was only 33 in this video. He had charm and stage presence WAY beyond his years. Man could he sing!

Great clip - especially loved the closing moments - he seemed to really have enjoyed himself with this number. Thanks for posting it.
