What would be the difference. Mozart composed at the age of 5, so did she.
The only difference is he lived *then* she lives *now*. But back *then* they didn't have television or superstars as we have today. Less competition.
It's much more difficult to rise to fame when you have millions competing for the same spot around the world.

SHE IS AMAZING. uh, excuse me with the 'i think shes better than Mozart person'. Mozart wasincredible and changed the world with the music he composed. Not going agaist Emily, I love her and all, but she hasn't really done nearly that much, yes shes composed music, yes she might in the future be as amazing as Mozart (i dont think anyone could be more) but until then, Mozart remains superior

I think she could be considered better than Mozart in the sense of writing better music when she was 6 years old than Mozart wrote when he was 6. However, that is subjective, and she did have the advantage of hearing his music, and subsequent music. Mozart did change music. Whether she will be as great a composer later is to be seen. There is no doubt she will be a great composer though.

good comment, but how do you know how good the music was that he wrote when he was 6? it is known his first compositions were at the age of 5, but little to no record of what these actually were still exist, for all we know they could have sounded amazing. you cant really compare two pianists who were around almost 250 years apart.

and one of the things i find a little disconcerting about emily.. is that she compares herself and thinks of herself like mozart.. says shes like him. i believe that

I meant comparing her compositions when she was 6 to Mozart's compositions when he was 6.

I am simply responding to a claim made by tbudha and skler491, both of whom believe that she was better than Mozart. Furthermore, the comparison's were made in regards to Emily's and Mozart's musical abilities at the age of six. Also, just so you know this concert was filmed in 2007, which means therefore she is now 8 years old. So DUH
